DS going into Yr 11 and they wear different suits in sixth form. Just spent AGES finding trousers to fit that match his jacket - suit trousers do NOT fit - he is too skinny.

New jacket, new trousers & shoes. We;re done now :)

I can never understand schol s that have uniform in 6th form. There was no uniform when DD1 went into 6th form just some guide lines on suitable clothes.

Same here Milliways. DS has long arms and legs but is slim, I ended up (after returning umpteen blazers etc to M&S & JL), buying rather nasty shiny ones from Asda as they were the only ones that fit.

Our sixthform has a uniform policy also, it seems to be mainly pinstripe suits which look rather nice. I'd rather do that than be paying out for a new Superdry hoody every other week, which would be the alternative, I suspect. Even worse if you have daughters.

6th form is just any dark suit, but they all wear black, plus a 6th form tie.

At least they all then have a decent suit for interviews....
