my husband is considering moving to east Dunbartonshire. Considering near to his work and school catchment. But reading the thread in Bearsden catchment showing difficult to get accepted even in catchment area. Please enlighten me. The house we might move in is showing Bearsden primary and Killermont. How do they decide which school will be accepted? The distance is just few .3 something. I Hear good talk about both school but what is it really for parents who have kids in the school ( who experience moving their kids to a new school)? As I’m 50/50 as I’m worried of my kids not settling. ( Like bullies and other issues.) as a relative 20 years experience bullying in the said primary school. And read another news about it recently 😬. We Will be selling our current house if we decided to move in Bearsden . Anything will be helpful.
