North Berwick schools

Hi, we currently live in another East Lothian town but are considering a move to North Berwick if we can. I wondered if anyone has any experience of either Law Primary or the high school? I'm aware the schools are good in terms of league tables but I'm interested in whether your children have had positive or negative experiences there? Also bonus if your child has or knows someone who has Dyslexia (my child has recently been identified as Dyslexic) and whether they were or weren't well supported there. Thank you 😊

I live in NB. The primary school has mixed reviews from what I hear. Some people love it but others feel unsupported. I know of a few families whose kids have ASN and they either get a taxi to another EL primary funded by the council or they go to a private school. Its a big primary school and class sizes are large.

The village schools are much smaller. Talking of village schools, have heard positive re asn for dirleton and Gullane. Dirleton tiny though with multi year composite classes personally wouldnt consider it but my child doesnt have asn so perhaps that environment has benefits?? Dont no anything about Gullane other than iv never heard a bad review. Both feed to nbhs.
