Holycross rc Edinburgh and St thomas of aquin high school

We are looking to move and will be in the holycross and st thomas catchment.
Has anyone got recent experience with both schools? Thanks

I think St Thomas’ has a good reputation locally as the Catholic school of choice, but I always see their kids fighting on Friday afternoons… this might be par for the course with secondary age boys?

What kind of fighting? I stay close to another high school and often see boys play fighting a bit rough but not full blown fighting

I can’t help you with recent experience but back in the day I was a pupil at Holy Cross. It was a really lovely school. Actually, one of my then classmates is a teacher there now. I think St Thomas’s has a reasonable reputation.
