School leaving age

My DSD is turned 15 on January and I'm confused about when she can leave school, she's doing Nat4s and 1 nat 5 now. Can she leave school after this coming Christmas or is it the one after?

Thank you, I thought that was the case but it feels so young!

If you are 16 before 31 August you can leave at end of June, if 16 before 28th February you can leave at Christmas. Most children stay till end of S5, often to turn N 4 maths and English into Nat 5, about 2/3rds do S6
