Hi
I was wondering of anyone has any experience of a epg application.

One has been submitted for my son and hopefully he will get moved out of mainstream.

Any experience anyone?

Not as a parent but as a practitioner. There just aren’t enough spaces for the children who so desperately need them. I truly hope you get your space.

My son isn't coping what so ever at school. If he doesn't get a place i honestly dont know what to so :(

If you get declined, appeal the decision. It seems the CEC/ERG stance is to refuse in the first instance and hope you and your child disappear into mainstream. Only a minority of parents appeal. Your letter will have info on Govan Law who will do the appeal / tribunal. I hope it doesn’t get to that for you. I see kids everyday who should be in special school and aren’t. The letting down of a generation of kids seriously pisses me off.

They will quote law jargon in their decline letter. We saw the letter sent to one family who were frightened by the response. But contact Govan Law and go for an Appeal.
