Following on from the links no links debate I thought we could have a review of our steak pies.
Well in big news we didn’t have ours until today! It was only DH and I and the pie fed 6 so I had a deconstructed pie. I heated the 2 portions of meat very slowly in a pot and I cut two portions of pastry and cooked them in the air fryer. What a revelation and triumph that was. I wished I had taken a photo. The pastry was as puffed as a puff thing on top but still had that all important soft lower layer.
Our pie was from Adross farm. We had chunky carrots and garden peas. DH spent the day cutting trees and was starving so broke with our convention and had some mash potato.
