Can anyone suggest somewhere good for a couple of drinks on a Saturday afternoon that I can book? My BIL’s birthday is late January and we are taking him to that mash place on the mound for food. We want a couple of drinks, possibly somewhere with a view after. We did Harvey Nics earlier this month and were hugely disappointed.

Are any of the drink places in the walnut whip worth a shot?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will take a look. Oddly, the one on market street came up on my TikTok last night. It does look good and not far from the mashed potato restaurant.

Really recommend Vessel on Hanover St. you can book tables, even for drinks, and there’s table service. Lovely option in city centre.
