How often do health visitors come in Scotland Glasgow

I just saw health visitor at 3 months and she is coming back again at 4 months!!! Why? Our 5 year old never had that many appointments makes no sense

It's normal. I had the same. After 4 months, the next visit won't be until baby is 8 months. It's fine.

Your 5 year old would have been born in 2020 - in person HV appointments didn't follow the usual schedule during COVID.

As usedupalllmynames said, during Covid the schedule varied by health visiting team and would have been affected by lockdowns and the different levels of each area. The current schedule is normal. Don’t worry though, the visits are very front loaded.
