I am an atheist, but from my point of view, given the thousands of religions about, that your son is actually singling out a specific Christian denomination that suits him, for the moment, does show he is thinking deeply about it.

I think that is good, and admirable in a way.

Greek Orthodox in not a cult, not in the usual sense anyway.

I am assuming he is a nominal Church of Scotland or Catholic, so seeking an alternative sounds fair.

But I have to ask. Is there a woman involved ? Maybe he is seeking an understanding to feel closer to someone he hopes can be special to him ?

@RedTagAlan hi yes we are church of scotland and hes been there a while and I do think he talking to someone but thats nit the reason hes chose to go there
