Suggestions for a work space in Edinburgh

Can anyone suggest somewhere I can hole up in central Edinburgh for a couple of hours next week to do some work in the day time? I'm not looking for a paid place just a corner in a cafe or accessible space somewhere (library?), preferably fairly quiet, where they wont mind me getting a laptop out and doing a bit of work. Happy to buy a coffee or coffees there if needed. Ideally somewhere between York Place and Grassmarket area. Ideas please.

Stockbridge Library is the first place that comes to my mind. It’s lovely. And loads of places on the doorstep for coffee. However the location might be slightly off.

Brewdog hotel on New Street. Unlimited tea and coffee for a tenner.

Thank you to both. Stockbridge Library sounds great, but yes a bit out of the way. Brewdog sounds like the place and I know exactly where it is.

The public can access the Edinburgh University Futures Institute - it's the old Royal Infirmary off the Meadows. Only wifi will be Eduroam though.

TBF, I've also worked in the Tinderbox in Waverley mall - was after 2pm so not sure if that would be doable earlier in the day.

There’s a great app - Swurf- that lists venues where you can work in peace. It started in Edinburgh so has a lot of venues in Edinburgh.
