Move to Bishopbriggs?

Any Bishopbriggs people on here? Would you say it's a good place to live?

We are weighing up whether to move there as we think it looks good and ticks a lot of boxes. Currently in Lenzie and love the area but need more space. Hardly anything ever comes on the market here. Kirkintilloch isn't an option as DH wants somewhere with a station.

We have have family there, it seems a nice family location.

I have family with young kids there, they like it and say the schools are very good. Seems to have heavy traffic, but that could just be bad luck when I've visited.

Thanks all, it does seem nice but where we are is so nice that it's hard to get head around leaving - the reality is not much comes up around here and when it does, it's going for way over asking price.
