Anyone had any joy yet? I’ve entered my email in to get a notification when I reach the front of the queue. Hoping it happens in my lunch break 😀

By the time I got on all the less expensive tickets had gone (for swimming, athletics and cycling) - will need to try again when more are released.

I registered on time but never got an email when the pre sale opened … ah well

DeepfriedPizza · 24/10/2025 11:54

Trying today as not in Glasgow. Fingers crossed

We got more than we were trying to get as we got caught up in the hype. We are going to 3 days of netball.

I’m not paying £90 for a ticket for example for cycling, World Champs was cheaper and you got to see a wider section of big names. The Rugby 7’s last time the CGs was in Glasgow was about £40 for the finals of the men’s matches.

Will keep an eye out to see if they offer any cheaper tickets nearer the time.

I tried to get some swimming and cycling. Clicked off when tickets came in at over £100 for the cheapest ones.

Also wanted swimming tickets but just so expensive. Not sure how this is inspiring the next generation.

I was looking forward to getting tickets to take the kids next summer but they’re soooo expensive! Looked on Saturday and gymnastics was over £300 for a family of four and swimming about £190 from memory. We can’t afford that! I thought tickets would be more like £30-40 per person.

If it is a medal competition then it's going to be more expensive. We were £122 for the whole day so 2 sessions for One adult and one child for the non medal day then £300 for the medal day

Perhaps I was being unrealistic but the athletics tickets were much more expensive than I anticipated. We went for netball too so we can experience the Commonwealth games atmosphere with our kids. Looking forward to it (and will have to make do with athletics on tv).
