In need of some Mum friends, who just "get it"

Hi mums!

I'm a SAHM to 3 boys, it's chaotic but so much fun..
Anyway, I'm in need of some new girlie friends.. I literally have 2 friends and they don't live near me, I cannot stand the playground cliques, I tend to keep myself to myself 😂
However, I would love to meet some new mum friends who just get mum life and the chaos that comes with it!
Im in west lothian and don't drive, my eldest is at school, middle son at nursery and have 18 month old at home with me.

Life is busy and incredibly lonely at times, I struggle with my confidence and feel a bit lost with no one who can relate!
Tell me I'm not alone here xx

I always found Toddler Groups a good way to meet people. I also have 3 boys, but they are young adults now. Most of my friends have been made at the school gates, toddler group and Playgroup. I was probably what you'd consider part of a clique, but I would say that I would just chat in the playground and most Mums were friendly.

What about an area-specific Facebook group?

I don't think you should write off all the school mums though!

Hi! I'm a SAHM to 2 wild boys as well. A lot of fun and I live for them! But definitely understand the isolation and a bit of a lack of adult social life. Starting to test the waters with school mums now my oldest is in school. But my confidence is a bit shot with losing myself to being mummy fir a couple years (not that I'd change it for the world!). Have found a group to take the younger one to on his days off nursery. Hoping I'll get there sooner rather than later. Is there anything near you? I have a friend in West lothian who seems to be at endless toddler groups, different ones every day of the week. Honestly a bit envious at times of how busy her social calendar with group mums seems to be haha

I have 3 kids and would say some school mums are absolutely lovely and some just drama so dont rule them all out. I met some friends through toddler groups to which helped. Also look for all lady gym classes or something you can share a common interest with other woman at.

Which part of West Lothian are you in?
