I posted this somewhere else accidentally but can't find it so trying again..

A friend started listening to a Scottish band and played a song over and over and it's stuck in my head!

The band is Skerryvore and the song is live forever and ever or something similar.

There's a bit in the song that is instrumental that sounds like ...

Dah nah daaaah
Dah dah dah dah dah dah dahhh

(I know... not much to go on!)

It's driving me crazy as I know I know that bit of the song from somewhere else. Sounds like a Scottish or Irish folk tune. Maybe a highland dance tune?

Can anyone help! My friend, who is Scottish, said she's never heard of that tune in that part of the song from anywhere else but I know I have!

You can sing a song into google and it can identify it, maybe that would work? I tried it once and it actually worked!

It's almost exactly like an Australian band called Boom Crash Opera amd theor song Dancing in the Storm! No idea where i heard their song bit it's very similar

My friend said Boom Crash Opera do the opening song for I'm A Celeb so maybe I heard more of their songs over time. Anyway, glad it's not bothering me anymore!
