Architect recommendations - Scotland

Hello Scotsnet,

We're in the process of buying a 1965 built house which has a midcentury modern vibe and that's a style we really love. We're looking to build a wrap aroud extension and would want it to be sympathetic to the original house.

Getting overwhelmed at looking at online portfolios for Scotland based architects. Most leave me feeling a bit meh - there seems to be a very generic extension style that accounts for 80% of what I see.

Any recommendations?

I'll PM you (if I can remember how to).

Where in Scotland are you, as that will affect what replies you get.

Thank you.

We're pretty central, near Perth/Stirling/Fife, not too far from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee either, all within an hour.

Arka architects based in Falkirk are very good. We used them for a very small extension. Good to work with and mindful of budget.
