Does anyone on here live in East Lothian, (but not north Berwick), and have children who go to EA? If so how do you/they find the commute? Trying to decide if it’s an option for our kids as not sure about driving them to station and then them training in and then having a fair walk at the other end…

Sorry, not what you’re asking but I know a family in NB who send their 2 kids to ea. I’m sure they get a school bus mostly

thanks @Stanley44132but reason for not NB is the fact I know there is a bus and a train that goes to and from NB - but we don’t live near NB so wondering if others do it who aren’t right next to the train / the bus service and how they cope…

How old are they? You do see kids walking up Dundas road and around Waverley. I guess they probably get the public bus. Hopefully someone along soon who does it

How old are they? Would it be for the senior or junior school?

They’d be in senior school S1 & S2 (not this year, next)

They’ll be fine. Plenty of kids travel in from the borders / East Lothian. Early starts for matches & parties will require taxi service for a few years. As they get older they often atay over with friends in town. Great school. Staff and ethos are very good.
