Can anyone recommend a traditional chippy in Edinburgh city centre that still serves the food wrapped in paper (not actual newspaper - I mean the greaseproof stuff). It seems most places now use carboard trays which is just not the same. I plan to take DCs into town to see the Christmas lights and I'd like to treat them to an old fashioned chippy to eat on our laps somewhere as I remember doing growing up. Any recommendations?
