Looking for some advice please? Looking to move from west coast to east coast Scottish Borders. Seen a house at Houndswood, that appears to be unbelievably cheap. Thinking about arranging a viewing. Is Houndwood an OK area? If it seems too good to be true...it probably is :)

I'm not sure I'd call it an area, have you looked at a map? It's basically a lay-by off the A1!

Yeah, looking for a quiet area with a few nieghbours so it looks ideal. It seems to have been on the market for a while and is lower in price than other houses. Just wondered if there was something off with the area.

if so, your "quiet area" is going to involve turning on and off the A1 every time you leave the house and I don't you'd ever be able to walk anywhere.
