Glasgow restaurant recommendations please!

It's for a 40th birthday lunch and will be on a Tuesday - wanted to go to the Ubiquitous Chip but it's closed (as are a few others!)

Not quite a Michelin star budget but close.

We took my FIL to the Mini Grill steakhouse a few years ago and he still talks about it.

If you like Indian food Dhabba in the merchant city is great.

New place called Margo on Miller Street is meant to be fantastic. Owed by the folk who own Ox and Finch. Id highly recommend there.

I love The Ivy. It's gorgeous inside and has great service. Food really nice.

If you’re happy to go out a bit id totally recommend Elenas on Old Dumbarton Road it’s gorgeous

Number 16 is fantastic and I think the best food in Glasgow.

No. 16 in Byres Road is just brilliant. Best food in Glasgow in my opinion.
