I’m not sure if this thread is allowable given it’s vulnerable to self advertising but I’d love to learn about some small, independent Scottish companies to buy Christmas gifts from. Or if we can’t recommend companies, is there a recommended way to find local suppliers other than asking on Facebook?

I’ll give an example of what I mean below so the op can remain even if we can’t name companies. Would love to find interesting jewellers, scarf makers etc.

My example: I was given chocolates from Ard Bakery which is near me but I hadn’t heard of before. They were beautiful and tasty and I was glad to learn they are local.

I bought a bottle of Gullane Glugg last Christmas. It makes a really fruity mulled wine. I'm not a huge fan of mulled wine but this was delicious, would recommend and will rebuy.

That looks lovely @Eastcoastie , hasn’t heard of them either so thanks for the recommendation!
