I've been offered places at both Doune Terrace and Cowgate Under 5's for my 3 yr old. Live in Stockbridge and work on Charlotte Sq so Doune Terrace location is perfect but I love the Cowgate ethos. Iv read the care inspectorate reports but does anyone any good/bad real life experiences? Thanks

Did you finally reach a decision on this?

I'm not the OP and have no recent experience. Just in case it's of interest though: about ten years ago, I used to collaborate with Cowgate in a professional capacity. From what I saw, they were excellent - one of the best two or three nurseries in Edinburgh I used to visit. I would have liked to send my own DC there later, but the waiting list was too long for us.

I have never heard of Doune Terrace but I only hear fantastic things about Cowgate. I think if you have the chance you should take the place!
