Just wondering if anyone has been here and if so would you recommend the main restaurant or the brasserie? I’ve wanted to go all my life and never been 😂 The occasion is a birthday dinner with adult children.

I think it may have closed now 🙁🙁🙁🙁

It's definitely still open - been a few times since it was taken over by Greene King and it seems to be as good as ever.

I like the Restaurant for a special dinner but the Brasserie is also v nice!

I cam on to say that although it's a lovely place, the food is now disappointing. It used to be great. The menu sounds good but it's all very....disappointing.

We have been to the main restaurant several times, and I would heartily recommend it - the food has always been wonderful!

Don't think it's that great, tbh. Nice venue but food is meh. The Times gave it a scathing review a few months ago

Used to live opposite behind Ashton lane fab places to eat. I would not go now if it’s green king. It’s so disappointing going home now . We had our wedding meal and night at one Devonshire. That’s gone too. 🙁🙁🙁

We went there for dinner early last year, was incredibly disappointing. Service was rubbish, food was mediocre, bill was enormous. Is not what it was. Would never go back now.
