Adult disability payment

I was transferred from PIP to adult disability payment a few weeks ago. It’s due to be reviewed next month. I can’t find anything online about his this works. I want to know whether it’s the same as a PIP renewal (where they just ask you to tell them whether anything has changed since the award), or whether I will have to be do a complete new/full application. Can anyone help?

I've no idea. I have spent the last few months expecting a letter as my ongoing award period was up but PIP have extended it for 8 months. I presume it's more the are there any changes form.

Thanks @Groovee it seems that I’m one of the new people to go through this. They’ve said the information will arrive by 22 August so I’ll just have to nervously wait.

Got everything crossed for you x

Your review pack will arrive shortly after your review date. You either respond advising no changes which you can do online or by returning the short form or complete a change of circumstances form (online or paper form) detailing any changes to your failing living/mobility. Try and return any supporting information (prescription list, NHS letters, occupational health reports) if you can. It is likely to take a number of months before you receive your outcome letter and you will continue to receive your monthly payment during this time. Hope this helps!

@Stormont03 thank you so much for that information.

Sorry to resurrect an older thread. But does anyone have experience of timelines here?

I transferred from DLA to ADP and sent in my review form (a change of circs triggered the review and transfer) in August.

When might I expect a decision does anyone know? If a decision is made that I go up a level, is the amount backdated to when I sent the form in?

Thank you.

It can take as long as 4-6 months and depends on whether you sent in sufficient supporting information with your review form or whether ADP needs to gather supporting information on your behalf via your GP or other health professional. If you are eligible for an increase in award, you are likely to receive a back payment to the date you submitted your CoC however it also depends how long you have had the CoC. Your award start date is explained in your outcome letter.

Thank you @Stormont03 That's helpful. I don't think there's an official "change of circumstances notification" so far unless DWP noted it as such when transferring to Social Security Scotland. But my review form might be treated as the notification too?
