Looking for a place for lunch that is good for vegetarians and picky teens! Somewhere quite nice but not too fancy, any ideas?

Sylvan is all vegetarian - absolutely lovely :)

That looks lovely, pictures on insta are fab but the no menu is risky for some of their pickiness!

If everyone likes indian food I like the Westend Banana Leaf on St Vincent Street. Basic cafe, nothing fancy with lighter southern Indian dishes and reasonably priced.

I am not fussy on their dosa, but their vegetable curries are nice. Lunchtime sized portions.

That’s an option, thanks

Santa Lucia Pasta is our go to, Byres Road. Delicious and authentic.

Where are you going to be in Glasgow. Southside, West End, City Centre, Merchant City?

Jumblebum · 03/08/2024 13:17

Five March in West end and Five at Phillies in Shawlands are both fab with options for vegetarians. The roast potatoes are amazing. Might be tricky for fussy eaters.

Sugo is fabulous and really reasonably priced. It's walk ins only though so at peak times can be a bit of a wait.

Paesano does fabulous pizza. A friend who is vegetarian loves Mother India.

Jessica356 · 03/08/2024 19:12

I like Cafe Andaluz too.

DameKatyDenisesClagnuts · 03/08/2024 19:36

I'm veggie and love Paesano

HGC2 · 03/08/2024 19:49

Sylvan is lovely but definitely not for picky eaters and imo very over priced. Sano Pizza is great and they've opened a new one in Merchant City, also agreed with the suggestion for Santa Lucia.
