I’m just cutting and pasting a thread I started over in Feminism, Sex and Gender yesterday as I feel it’s relevant to this board. I’ve edited it slightly.
I saw on BBC Scotland news yesterday that Aberdeen University have adopted the ‘gender violence charter’ drawn up by Emily Drouet’s mother in the aftermath of the death of her daughter while a student at Aberdeen University.
Here’s a link to a 2018 Mumsnet thread about the awful case.

The man responsible for the abuse of Emily in the time leading up to her taking her own life, got community service and was whisked away by his wealthy family.
I have a DD who might attend Aberdeen Uni, so I’m pleased this charter is in place. I am so full of admiration for Fiona Drouet for this campaign - to fight like this for so long.
