The Buffalo Farm Kirkcaldy

We visited the Buffalo Farm today for lunch and goat cuddling. The cafe was lovely. There are quite a few animals to see as well as a covered sandpit and a couple of bouncy slides things. The ice cream was huge from the milk bar and we got some great purchases in the farm shop. My eldest who is 24, got the pizza dough with toppings for her niece and nephew staying over tonight. It's definitely worth a visit.

Oh that sounds nice! I’d never heard of it.

Im assuming, given your eldest is 24, this would be suitable for older teens and isn’t just for weans? (Sandpit and bouncy slides aside)

My eldest loved it despite the fact she had the fear as a primary teacher of seeing a child from school. My 21 year old was happy too.

There's goat cuddling and goat playtime available to book which you do online. I wish I'd known about it when they were younger. Makes a changes from Cairnies.

My SIL takes her older ladies she is a carer for and they love it too.

Can I just ask how much the entry was. My daughter and family visited one near Aberdeen that gets rave review but were not impressed at all at £20 per adult.
Annoyingly it was for their son's birthday and he wasn't well on the day. They phoned up and explained and asked if they could change the date but were refused.

It was free but think about £6 per family for the cuddling and £10 for the play. I don't know what the bouncy things were. You could buy animal feed but not sure how much it was. Lunch for 4 adults was £56. Then we spent £50 in the shop for a few dinners. Ice cream was huge but not overly expensive. You do need to prebook the goat sessions.
