Different/ cool things for adults in Glasgow

We have friends visiting soon.

They want to visit Glasgow but they are not the museum / sightseeing type.

Last time they were here we went to Edinburgh and did the Johnnie Walker experience and then had drinks in their rooftop bar. It was great.

Looking for something with a similar vibe in Glasgow please - any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm watching because I want a trip to Glasgow.

Yotel, near Central station, has a bar and bowling alley on their top floor - one of the lifts even has disco lights to take you up! I think the science centre sometimes has adult only nights at the planetarium but I’ve not been. Hope your friends have fun.

Fair play adult fairground games type place.

Golf fang adult themed mini golf, cocktails and food. There are lots of other golf places but golf fang is the best one.

A second vote for golf fang. The tennants brewery tour is interesting as well. Kelvingrove museum often has good things going on and there’s lots of events at SWG3 if you fancy something arty or music related.

Great suggestions, exactly the type of thing I was hoping for!

Thanks all.

What about afternoon tea at the willow tea rooms? The Sauchiehall Street one.

Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre is very quirky and brilliant.

Well I have just got to Glasgow. Impressed by the buses and the West End and last night's Vietnamese meal and general friendliness.

Off to explore in a bit.

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat Anchor Line is great quality Scottish food and they also do lovely cocktails!

West Brewery Tour, an amazing German Brewery on Glasgow Green.

Nice inside for a few refreshments after it and an amazing beer garden if you get the weather.

If Distilleries are your thing then Glengoyne is only about a half hours drive away, think there’s bus you can get but not 100% sure.
