Glasgow restaurant

Can anyone recommend a restaurant no more than 5-7 mins walk from the Kings Theatre on Bath Street. My friend can’t walk much further.

No Indian or Thai and mid price.

we normally do cafe antipasti - they tend to have good fixed price pre theatre menu. not regular theatre goers though so am sure there are lots of other options! baby grand tends to get a good name but i haven't eaten in it in absolutely ages and not sure how dear it is now

Has anyone heard of steak & cherry?

Red Onion is nice. The restaurant at Malmaison is very close and they often have a good set menu. Mini grill is also lovely but slightly more pricey.

The Griffin is just across the road from the King's and has a good basic menu. Also love Red Onion but it is a bit further to walk for your friend. I haven't heard of Steak & Cherry.

I’ve heard of steak and cherry but I don’t know anyone who has been to it.., Griffin is good pub grub type place, I forgot about it. Malmaison is quite a hill to get up to the kings is it not?

Steak and cherry is quite studenty. There’s a good Middle Eastern restaurant called Roya straight over the road from the King’s. It’s new and very good.

I’m going to book Red Onion thank you as that looks really nice.

The Baby Grand is just round the corner & very good.

Steak and Cherry is awful so I'm glad you decided against it. Red Onion is a great choice.
