Thought I found the perfect flat, available to move into straight away, easy to book, etc...
Looked up the buildings and it turns out the address is a running joke!

Is it really as bad as it sounds?
I will not go ahead with it but I'm just curious

I really wouldn't. I went to view a flat with a friend in that building and it was really sketchy.

If you need easy access to the city centre, drugs and a brothel it would be ideal!

Nah, that building is infamous. Don’t do it

I lived in the old coop building conversion backing onto those flats in the early-mid 00s and watched the Barratt complex being built. They were heavily marketed at young professionals. I remember watching rats run around the car park between the buildings in broad daylight. Been away from Glasgow many years now and had no idea how bad it had got until this thread made me google. Wow! It was a handy location for town and commuting but the situation sounds horrific. I really feel for the trapped resident owners - even renting there sounds awful.
