Have had a look and can’t see any recent threads so hope I’m not repeating!

Has anyone got an idea of what the current turnaround is in these applications? I can only find discussions about back when it was switched over. I’ve looked at the DLA thread for England and the whole process of that application process seems more complex than CDP?

anyone had CDP rewarded recently who can tell me how long their wait was to hear back?

I waited 17 weeks

I applied last month and this weekend I’ve had a message to say the application is being reviewed. I was expecting it to take up to a year so I’m trying not to read too much into the fact that I’ve got a text at this stage…

One case September till March. Successful.

Another case February to April. Unsuccessful. Will be appealing as I don't agree with the decision.

We’ve just had a result today, only four weeks after applying.

Glad you had your result quickly. It does seem to depend case by case.

We’re a renewal and I think I sent the forms back in January! Still getting our payments though thankfully.

Applied Oct, got awarded in Feb but I think 1st applications are moving faster now. Looks like they have moved staff from other departments to clear the backlog and speed up the process.
Did a reconsideration in March the 56 days are up next week and I haven’t heard anything. Change in circumstances are also taking much longer.

Still not had anything through about our renewal, but payments still coming!
