Child disability payment (scotland)

Hi,

Looking for some advice, my daughter has ADHD and ODD.
I applied for CDP for her last month, recieved a call from the manager saying he had made her decision but he had a system issue or error that was preventing him from closing the case.
He said he's escalated it to IT and it's up to them to sort it now as his part has been completed. This may be upwards of 16 weeks!!!!

So, now I'm just to sit and wait for IT to correct the case, in order for her application to be closed and payments to start.

Has anyone else had this that can give me some advice on what this IT issue even means?

I'm not sure, but when we applied for my son (T1 diabetes) we applied in March and didn't hear anything until August. It's not a fast process, for sure.

I applied 6 weeks ago, and recieved the letter yesterday. They managed to fix the error. She did get awarded, panic over. The error was due to a system error.

We had an issue with 1st payment going through. They sorted it in a week hopefully it won't take long. They will back date it too.

This seems like a really quick turnaround! I applied last month and was expecting it to take up to a year to process but I received a text yesterday to say they are reviewing the case. I didn’t dare think I would get an outcome any time soon but your post has given me some hope that it might be quicker than i expected!

How long did it take after they confirmed your identity to go to the following stage?
I completed the form back in February but they said they lost part 2 I had to do a video call last week to give all the information again.

We waited nearly a year for the whole process
