Looking for a builder in Banffshire

I'm trying to start renovation work on a very run down house in Banffshire but struggling to find recommendations of local builders - hopefully not doing anything structural but I suspect there is damp. Basically need to strip out the place and redo everything except the roof. Not in Banff but very close. Any recommendations gratefully received!

No recommendations sorry but it's very prevalent here for people to say they're going to come round and then just not turn up - very frustrating.

I agree with @RaraRachael I live in the area and it took me a year and a half to find a builder to do a repair. Lots wouldn’t turn up when they said, or came but didn’t want the job as it wasn’t big enough (underpinning foundations). Finally got someone to do it but I wouldn’t recommend them as the attention to detail was poor, i.e didn’t colour match concrete, left mess everywhere, bits left undone and had to call them back. The repair itself is fine but I’ve gone from one eyesore to a different eyesore, and I have bits I will need to sort in the summer that I shouldn’t have to if they were conscientious.

Thanks - it's so hard to find good tradespeople anywhere then you have to factor in the rural location! Neighbour might be able to help with some basic work but then need pumbling, wiring, kitchen fitting, inner wall to move and new staircase and doors and windows...
