Private dermatologist recommendations?

I’ve had eczema since birth, on my entire upper body. I would like to see a dermatologist, but I’m in the north of Scotland and it seems there’s nothing near me.
Does anyone know of anywhere, or will I need to travel? On another note I’m not sure anything will come of it, but I’ve been palmed off by GPs for many years with emollients, and it’d be great to see a dermatologist and maybe get some more insight into my skin!

Dr Tidman at the Spire in Edinburgh gets great reviews. His wife was my GP when I was a child and she phoned her husband about the rash I had at the time.

I can also recommend Dr Tidman, he is my husbands dermatologist. He is very in demand so even privately expect a big of a wait.

Raigmore Hospital has NHS dermatology if you could get referred? There’s def nothing private up here though.

Thanks guys, will look into these. Unfortunately my eczema isn’t determined to be bad enough to be referred to a dermatologist, so need to go private.

After years of our GP being useless with my son I got him an appointment with Dr Gregory Parkins at Nuffield Glasgow. He privately prescribed him some meds and wrote to our GP saying he should have been referred to dermatology years ago and asking them to do it, which they did. He then got referred to dermatology and patch testing which identified allergens and he’s now much better.

Just watch out for dr tidmans bedside manner! He wasn’t the most tactful with my 15 yr old dd.
