Anyone’s DC applied for Nursing this year?

DD sent in her UCAS form just before Christmas. She’s applied for paediatric nursing and there’s only 4 courses in Scotland. She immediately got an interview date for Aberdeen, which she did in early January. She’s heard nothing from anywhere else and hasn’t had an offer or a rejection from Aberdeen. She’s beginning to feel a bit downhearted because all her friends are getting offers and she’s had nothing.
Has anyone else heard anything from any of the nursing courses? I’m trying to reassure her that they have simply not made any decisions yet but I’m starting to get a bit worried now.

The deadline for applications was 31st January so the likelihood is that the universities are waiting until then to make decisions on who to interview and offer places to.
One of mine was in this situation a year or two back. One uni interviewed shortly after the application went in and offered a place, others interviewed but didn't offer places until after the deadline and one didn't interview until after the deadline.

Thanks for that. You were right, she got 2 interview confirmations this week. Just waiting for Glasgow Cale which is the course she really wants.
