We are hoping to have cavity wall insulation installed and wondered if anyone in central Scotland can recommend an installer?

I can't recommend anyone. But the federation of master builders website is good for finding recommended tradespeople.

@DRS1970 Thanks, I will have a look.

Make sure the installer is PAS2030 accredited and registered with CIGA.

If they aren't, don't use them.

Cavity Wall insulation is covered for many homes under Eco schemes. If you find an installer, you can ask if they can check if your qualify for free insulation under Eco otherwise I'd recommend doing a bit of research on the company first because there are a TON of cowboys out there and you don't want the work done and then any defects not attended to and no CIGA guarantee.

@FartSock5000 Thanks for the advice.

This is what my problem is- trying to find someone reputable. Found someone local but they aren’t registered with CIGA.

Will keep looking as our house is so cold. We had cavity wall insulation in our old house and it really made a difference but it was a long time ago and was through our local council.
