Hi

I have a 10 and 13 years old kids and considering to move in West Lothian. Quality of secondary school will determine where I will settle.

If you know secondary schools in West Lothian, please tell me your order preference.

I particularly interested to know about Linlithgow Academy and Winchburgh Academy. Are they difficult to get in? Anything I need to know particularly? Thank you so much.

Linlithgow has the best exam results in West Lothian, though I don't know if that's down to the demographic. I'd assume if you lived in linlithgow you'd get a place. Winchburgh only has S1 and S2 just now so depends on whether your 13 year old has a birthday that puts them in S2 or S3. You could also look at West Calder as it has been doing really well and has a nice, modern school.
