Festive weekend in Glasgow?

We need to spend a weekend in Glasgow in December for one of the DC’s competitions. Would anyone recommend any of the Christmassy events for 5 & 7 year old DC? Or are we better off just doing our usual Kelvingrove/science centre?

Christmas films at The Grosvenor in Ashton Lane . It's such a gorgeous little cinema and Ashton Lane is so gorgeous at that time of year.

Or are we better off just doing our usual Kelvingrove/science centre?

Or transport museum / Tall Ship for those ages.

they had ice skating outside the kelvingrove last year - called elfingrove
it was nice and festive
