I know its the school holidays but it's our 15th wedding anniversary and we would love to get out for a nice meal while we are in the area.
Will need to settle for a takeaway if we can't find anywhere.
Thanks

Nicest food is the old bridge inn but my sister also rates the cairngorm hotel but you can't book in advance there.

Don't know if there is anywhere I'd consider romantic.

Don't know if some of the bigger hotels might be okay?

Thanks, we are eating late so I'll have a look and see if I can book something.

You could try the Rowan Tree hotel, it’s a few miles outside of Aviemore on the road to Kingussie.
I have no idea what it’s like but the menu seems a bit more special than some, I love the Cairngorm Hotel but it’s not very romantic!

Anderson’s in Boat of Garten is good.

Alvie Forest Food at Dalraddy holiday park (about 3 miles s of Aviemore on the Kincraig Rd) is a really good food truck with interesting options if you want a takeaway.

oh Yes, the Rowan Hotel is a good shout.

Another vote for the Old Bridge inn
