Plus size shopping in Edinburgh/Glasgow

I’m so fed up with online shopping. I need a decent day out of trying stuff on. I’m bigger than last time I did a proper shopping trip though, size 20-22 (pre COVID and second child). Where’s best for plus size shopping - Edinburgh or Glasgow? Is it worth a trip or will I only find things my size in the standard Yours etc plus size shops?

Glasgow has more shops - in Edinburgh George street has a decent collection. M&S will have sizes up to 22 I think, and you'll find it in most places.

Edinburgh is prettier but Glasgow has more shops, cheaper lunch options and its easier to get to.

Yours and M&S are close together and you may get size 20 in the big Primark. There are also options H&M, Next and New Look does plus size.

Get off at Argyle St to hit M&S & Yours first then work your way along to Primark then up Buchanan St to H&M, Next and New Look. You can grab lunch at Sloans or even in Princes Square or Buchanan Galleries.
