Any views on the above schools? I’ve found a thread on St L’s which isn’t the most complimentary and old ones on Madras but I’d love to hear about the new school?

Interesting point on previous thread about St L pupils joining Madras for exam years rather than do the IB. Many thanks in advance.

My DC joined St Leonards in Year 8 and have had a positive experience including throughout Covid. After GCSE my DS left and went to Dundee High to do highers, he wouldn’t have enjoyed the IB. He had a very good experience and did well in his exams. My DD is thriving doing IB, she has grown in confidence and maturity. The teaching is very good and the staff supportive.I believe IB isn’t for every child, you have to be well organised, self motivated and prepared to work hard. Children do leave after GCSE, because they know that IB is far more work than highers and Madras offer courses which you can’t do at St Leonards.
