Glasgow restaurant recommendations

We unexpectedly have a childfree night tonight, so I'm looking for recommendations for nice restaurants in Glasgow (city centre or West End). I don't go out in Glasgow as much as I used to as I think it's looking a bit rundown and rough post Covid so I'm really out of the loop. Probably don't want to go for a curry or heavy Italian, but happy with recommendations for anything else. I really like the Ivy but I go there quite a lot when I'm out in Glasgow. So happy to try somewhere a bit more casual but still nice. Thanks so much.

If you can get a booking try Crabshakk Botanics or Ka Pao in the West End.

I think it will be quite difficult to get a table for tonight

Ubiquitous Chip, Mother India, Murphy's Pakora, Butcher Shop or the hands down best small plates in Glasgow @ Gloriosa.

The Atlantic Brasserie in St Stephen Street, George Sq end, it's very good and the cocktails are delicious. The Anchorline upstairs is also good.

If you like Mexican street food, try Mezcal on Hope Street!

The Finneston is lovely, especially if you like fish.
