Stationery shops

We're planning a road trip tomorrow and fancy a visit to a good stationery shop to stock up. I love The Write Stuff in Stockbridge. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Anywhere in Scotland considered for this and future trips.

I think Morningside has a good range of Nice Things and stationery shops at the Coniston Road end (not Bruntsfield end).

Otherwise a bit stumped. I love a good stationery shop so will follow with interest!

Good call @Hiddendoor , I'd start at Curiouser & curiouser in Bruntsfield, Bay Tree have some nice pens too then go on to Everyone's Designs at Holy Corner and there's a new branch of Paper Tiger in Morningside Road (or you could go to the Lothian Rd/Stafford Street branches.

There used to be a stationery shop opposite Mellis in Morningside but it's now a gift shop, there are several around there so may have some items.

I'd also recommend Cass Art on George St which is more of an art shop. Sadly Newington Stationers closed this year.

It’s online but they sometimes do pop up shops in Edinburgh - libraries and archives has a gorgeous array of things with a strong eye on being eco friendly too.

Thank you! Will check all of these out.

Tesco has bought Paperchase, which I quite liked, and will apparently be selling their stuff.

Does anyone else do a slight check to make sure they say stationery shops and not stationary 😳

Paper Tiger? On Lothian Road. Lovely way to spend half an hour.

Love Paper Tiger. I was in the new one on Morningside Road last week.

Rua, just across the road has some lovely stationery too. It has just opened a homeware shop next door as well.
