I’ve been thinking about Uniqlo after the London/Uniqlo bag thread. Was looking at the store locator because there didn’t seem to be one further north than Manchester. Edinburgh has got pretty good representation now with most brands so it seemed odd to be no Uniqlo. Am a bit surprised they are going to Princes St and not yet another addition to the big curly poo.

That’s good news. To be fair any shop would be good. With the exception of more American sweet shops and Scottish tat shops though. Princes Street is just so empty now.

I'm very excited about this as I love Uniqlo. I always visit one of their stores when I visit DD2 in London. DD1 is not happy as she wants one in Leeds!

Ooh, that's made me happy! I don't know why, i haven't bought any of their clothes but everyone raves about them for basics so I'd love to be able to go into a shop and look for myself.

Also will be good to see a new shop on Princes St!

Excellent! Some of their stuff just doesn't suit my shape (so reluctant to order online) but the stuff I have bought has always ended up in the favourites pile.

We are big Uniqlo fans but have to order online because of lack of shops. This is good news for Princes St.
