Footwear and weather in Scotland?

Daft question but… what are you currently wearing on your feet in Scotland? We are coming ‘home’ next week and it’s been so hot where I live that I’ve lost touch with the reality of Scottish summer ☔️

I will need waterproof trainers right? Rather than airy summer ones? And is there any point in bringing sandals?

Hear me out - sandals! Simply because it's warm with sudden torrential rain every day. If you have limited footwear with you, sandals will dry out quicker than trainers. Nothing worse than having to go out again in wet trainers and have constantly wet feet.

Nooo…that feeling of wet feet in squelchy sandals is horrible! A pair of wellies or waterproof walking shoes are much better 😁

Love love love the welly song @Jitterybugs !

4 seasons in one day! I would bring waterproof walking shoes and sandals

North of Scotland, trainers, boots or wellies depending on what I'm doing.
