Uni friends reunion a week on Saturday and I’m looking for somewhere accessible from Waverley, not too loud, welcoming for young teens and a baby, bookable in advance and no restrictions on how long you have the table for. It’s for lunch, but can make it a late lunch if we can have the table for longer. 5 adults, 2 teens, 2 babies. I thought Chez Jules looked nice but I don’t think you can reserve a table. Please help! I e not been in Edinburgh for years.

How about Howie’s on Waterloo Place?

I like Howies which is really close to waverley but i think you'll need to ask about staying longer than 2 hours.

Thank you. I’ll investigate Howies and Amarone.

The Outsider on George IV Bridge is always a winner with us

Loudins is good for kids and is only a 5-10 min walk but it's more lunch/brunch/cakes!

Ting Thai Caravan. There are two-both not far from Waverley.

Thanks everyone - I booked a late lunchtime at Howies.
