What are your plans if any?

I wish the weather would pick up a bit. Where I am in central belt it's forecast for rain for the next 10 days. 😞

Shh not all the central belt Some of us are limping on until Friday. Happy (and jealous) for those who finished last week and earlier but doesn't stop me feeling exhausted.

Ds3 finishes at lunch time tomorrow. I think I’m looking forward to it more than he is. We don’t really have any plans. We are dog sitting dsd’s wee dog for a fortnight whilst she is abroad. Ds3 has a job and some voluntary work to keep him busy. I’m not looking forward to the next hot spell. We have a new house cat so can’t open the windows more than a crack. I’ve been melting this last couple of weeks. I’m even considering buying an air con unit 😄

We were naughty and went on holiday on Saturday before school's finished up. Hello from sunny Fuerteventura 🌞. There's a good drying wind here which is handy as we're in a villa with a washing machine!

My kids finish at lunchtime. DC1 has autism and ADHD so the holidays can be hell as he is out of routine. Dc2 and Dc3 are generally quite happy just to play at the beach, parks etc. The weather is rubbish which is typical but we are going to England tomorrow for a couple of weeks and the forecasts are largely good were we are going thankfully. We are all exhausted and I really wanted to close the door this afternoon for a while and us all to relax but the car is in the garage and needs collected, all the DCs and DH have hair appointments today and somewhere in between my MIL wants to visit. DH is finishing early and can spend some T me with her though as I have to much to do.

My kids finished on Friday. We've been in sunny Spain since Saturday. ☀️

No holidays here for another week!

I had grand plans of an outdoors summer. No doubt the next heatwave is scheduled for the 16th of August!

and it's still raining...

Still raining in the south west schools break up next week will be a long 6 weeks if its like this.

We had just planned some days out this summer as we can't afford to go abroad. It has rained on and off for the last few weeks. Bloody awful.

Consoling ourselves that if we’d gone to where we like to go in Europe this year it would’ve been even hotter and buggier than last year, looks horrible weather there too.

very odd - for an hour or so between 2 and 3ish today it was quite hot, then torrential rain.

This has to be the wettest July for a long time! We're not going on holiday this year which makes it even more miserable.
