Fanny Trollopes

Cranston Kitchen is always really popular but good bang average and service terrible for drinks

Thank you @mrsbyers Fanny Trollopes looks delicious but over budget and Cranside kitchen sadly pizza only ( I'm mostly carb free these days)

But tremendously useful to know that Finneston is the area I'm looking for

Meze Meze is good, went there last year when I saw Queen at the Hydro

rookiemere · 08/05/2023 20:12

I've just read the Tripadvisor reviews for Cranside Kitchen - it must have gone downhill recently as it doesn't appear well recommended. I did fancy Meze Meze @ElizaB22 but is it not a fair distance from the Hydro ?

About a ten minute walk from the Hydro car park.

Pickled Ginger in finnieston - lovely food and it's just on the other side of the walkway!

Derby Lane is nice, as is Strip Joint, both in Finnieston. And El Jeffe if you like Mexican. Or Dockyard social if it's on a weekend.

Hi just a bit of an update. We ate at India Quay at the end as wanted something pretty close as it took a long time to drive through. Although not a gourmet experience, food was good and service efficient and a 2 minute walk from the Hydro.
Will definitely try out some of the others when we have more time.

Oh and top tip for parking, booked a space at the Premier Inn Pacific Quay across the bridge through Your parking space. Meant we avoided all the car park snarl up getting away at end of concert. Would definitely do that again.
