Anyway, what is it you need from a place to live OP, and why are you thinking of Banffshire?

Buckie obviously didn't appeal to you so it's doubtful that Rothes will. It's very small with a primary school. Secondary kids have to go to Speyside High in Aberlour. There's nothing much in it and a busy main road runs through it.
