Yet was completely unused in the parliamentary elections.

(plus that article also raises questions where the party setting the covid restrictions is planning for campaigning under certain restrictions)

Shelefttheweb · 12/04/2023 11:04

And given it was established that such a ‘battle us’ was not needed and considering the state of the party’s finances, you would think they would have sold it.

ThatsGenderwang · 12/04/2023 11:43

Maybe Old Mother Murrell was being paid rent for letting it sit unused on her driveway? Add in a security consultancy fee for keeping a wee eye on it.

About £150k a year would balance the books nicely.

We’re going to need a bigger popcorn holder 🍿 😆

Sugarfree23 · 12/04/2023 12:36

Can't be that hard to establish the registered owner, Who's insured to drive it, and if its an SNP company vehicle is the driver paying a Benefit in Kind tax on it?
Or has its been purchased from an SNP bank account and registered in someone else's name?

Rainbowshit · 12/04/2023 12:54

I assume if it is owned by the SNP then is will be adequately accounted for in their assets.... oh wait...

OMG can you picture Sturgeon emptying the grey water out it. 🤣

NowThatsWhatICall22 · 12/04/2023 13:09

Ah, just on the news, here comes a squirrel…

The Scottish government is to launch a legal challenge to Westminster's block on its controversial gender reforms.

Let’s see how the new continuity FM deals with this one 🙄

Sugarfree23 · 12/04/2023 13:20

Isla's pal will come along and get Yousaf!

Honestly it's like a mad far fetched film

StatisticallyChallenged · 12/04/2023 13:20

Ah such a good idea, because it has massive public support after all....Oh, hang on

ThatsGenderwang · 12/04/2023 13:34

SNP activists are quitting the party in their droves after dramatic police raids on Nicola Sturgeon's home and the arrest of her husband, senior nationalists fear, as Kate Forbes pleaded with members not to walk away....

That's all I can read of that article, but it's quite revealing. What is Forbes asking them to stay FOR? It's a deranged mess. Maybe she actually is going to attempt a heroic rescue and try to make it look selfless.

I've just seen it on the tv news.

So Humza has to now defend the indefensible while Kate Forbes just has to shake her head sadly to look like the sane one.

I notice the MailOnline has an article on Katie Dolatowski today, the convicted paedophile who blagged his way into a women's prison.

Transgender paedophile calls Nicola Sturgeon a 'great First Minister'

Katie Dolatowski, 22, who was born a man but now identifies as female, has previously been held in the segregation unit at Cornton Vale women's jail in Stirlingshire.

Sugarfree23 · 12/04/2023 14:22

The story gets better, you couldn't make this stuff up.

Shelefttheweb · 12/04/2023 14:24

The SNP are still the Scottish Government and I presume to some degree members have a say over policies, they certainly do over voting for their next leader. KF will be wanting the sane ones to stay otherwise we have a governing party that is run by the extreme fringe.

Shelefttheweb · 12/04/2023 14:29

At the end he says “people can look at our accounts….”, what is the context of that statement? How does it end? Because up until now not even the SNP finance committee could look at their accounts.

The interviewer should also ask if we can trust the SNP over Svottish Government finances too.

SirChenjins · 12/04/2023 14:39

Don’t look at the accounts peeps, look at me over HERE being a very important FM and challenging the WM government!!! No distraction going on, no siree.

Sugarfree23 · 12/04/2023 14:43

Truss lasted 44 days,
44 days would take Yousaf to 12th May.

Do we think he'll last that long

Sugarfree23 · 12/04/2023 14:45

I don't get why he is trying to push the GRR bill?

What's the attraction to that?

Distraction.

And last chance to have a push at it.

He will because no one will want to challenge him and take on the mess.

StatisticallyChallenged · 12/04/2023 14:55

I think he might too. There are many things wrong with the tories, but they can be ruthlessly efficient when it comes to getting rid of poorly performing leaders. The SNP don't have a track record of doing that - so even if he is utterly useless they will struggle to act.

I think it's about more than the GRR. I think they feel if they don't challenge this it'll give Westminster Carte Blanche to walk all over devolution.

I don't agree but then I'm not a nat, just what I think their reasoning is.
